This blog is under construction.
That's what we say, isn't it, when something isn't yet where we want it to be? I have high hopes -- well, hopes anyway -- for what this page can be. I imagine links to travel pictures and links to learn about different places and people. I pictures links to different social organizations and other blogs and web pages. I envision a portal where you can get lost exploring. But first I have to learn how to write and publish a simple post...I mean, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Of course, the temptation was not to let anyone know this blog existed until it was no longer under construction -- to wait until I had a finished product to proudly display. I thought maybe I should go to the library and read about the fundamentals of blogging, redo all of my picture albums, maybe even learn a little html. But I know myself -- and I know my life. If I waited until this was no longer under construction to invite you in, you'd never be invited. I will deal with my anxiety about what you will think. I will throw caution to the wind and invite you into the construction area. You can choose whether or not to return, whether or not you want to see what this space will become. I do know that the space will be different if you are part of it and hope that we can construct the space together.
Under construction. Aren't we all?

Oh how I do love that you even considered going to the library to do preliminary research. :-)
I'm thinking that you'll know who I am without me even telling you!
