It is amazing to me. I read The Garden Primer and planned what I would grow. I sketched the plan out on graph paper and then went out with a shovel, a tape measure, and Jason to begin digging the beds. I sweated and swore (just a little) and dug and hauled. I watched the sun travel over the spot I had chosen and worried it wasn't the right one. My little beds looked like a pet cemetery for a while. I wondered if I'd ever find the time to put the plants and seeds in the ground. But now, now -- a garden is growing.
Every day I go outside and look at the garden. Oh, the waiting was unbearable for that first week or two while I waited for the first seeds to germinate. Oh, the excitement when those first little buds appeared! Now each day the garden looks different; the rain and the sun are working together to make things grow. The tomato plants are taller each day and more and more little green to
I plant, I weed -- but God gives the growth.

Sounds like a lovely way to spend an evening. I imagine a summer of wonderful salads are coming your way!
Congrats...here's hoping the bunnies in my garden don't tell their city friends. :)
*is* coming... ;)
