Inefficient and frustrating bureaucracy
Sharp divide between the rich and the poor
Racial segregation and inter-group tension and violence
The pockets of the powerful being lined by the money of the poor*
Lack of trust in law enforcement and government
Is it the developing world...
Or the City of Chicago?
*here in Cook County we call this a "sales tax"

It has often felt like a foreign land to me, my friend...a foreign land. :) Not going to be shopping in your neck of the woods any time soon.
