Has it really been so long since I posted? I had a poem composed while planting the flower bed over Memorial Day week-end, but it was way too teen-ager-y. I was going to post photos from the planting week-end, but never got around to it. I'm getting a little bored with myself; same old hurts, same old thoughts. But now it's summer and there are good things ahead.

Hopefully lots of time with family and friends
In other words, getting on with living the life I've always wanted.

The Emmaus Road is the place where we are met by resurrection hope. At times we walk this road with heavy hearts; at times we walk this road with our hearts burning within us. But we never walk this road alone. Draw near and walk the road a while.

Ooh - grad school! Where? For what? And Greek? You have my admiration...
I nearly applied to a PhD program 3 and a half years ago, but ended up moving to Phoenix instead... maybe someday.
